Fable II Collector’s Edition: $69

The Fable II Collector’s Edition will see a few changes which will lead to a price change. Because of problems with the supply chain, the following items won’t be available in this edition: the premium box, 5 printed fate cards, and the Hobbe figure. The new price will be $69 instead of the original $79 one. To make sure no fans feel at a loss, a new Fable album will be available for free download.  Click on the PR link for more information.

Microsoft Adjusts Contents & Pricing for Fable II Collector’s Edition

We are happy to announce the Fable II game is in manufacturing and confirmed for Oct-21 in North America and Asia, Oct-24 for Europe.

However, due to supply chain issues, we are revising the Fable II Limited Collector’s Edition and the estimated retail price will be reduced from $79.99 to $69.99* USD in North America or as applicable in your market. *These are estimated retail prices; actual retail prices may vary worldwide.

The premium box, five printed fate cards, and Hobbe figure will not be available as part of the Limited Collector’s Edition. We apologize for any inconvenience.

The Fable II Limited Collector’s Edition will now include the following content at this discounted price:

Nintendo: A new DS?!?!?! | ¿¡¿¡¿¡Un nuevo DS?!?!?!

According to MCV, Nintendo will reveal a new version of its Nintendo DS portable system at a press conference tomorrow. It has been said that it will come with new multimedia features such as an MP3 player and camera function. With its new capabilities, it will have the some of the features seen in a PSP or iPhone. The price and other features have not yet been mentioned, but Nintendo seems to be doing this in order to sell more DS systems. In the last few months, more people in Japan have been getting a PSP.

De acuerdo a MCV, Nintendo revelará una nueva versión de su sistema portátil Nintendo DS en una conferencia de prensa mañana. Se ha dicho que vendra con nuevas funciones multimedia tales como un reproductor MP3 y de función de cámara. Con sus nuevas capacidades, tendrá algunas de las características vistas en un PSP o iPhone. El precio y otras funciones aún no se han mencionado, pero parece que Nintendo hace esto para vender más sistemas DS. En los últimos meses, más gente en Japón han estado consiguiéndose un PSP.

GameStop & Micromania

GameStop is expanding through Europe with its recent purchase of Micromania, France’s leading game retailer. The US gaming store will now have over a thousand stores throughout France, Italy, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Ireland, Spain and Portugal. The store sees Europe as its next target in order to increase its earnings through the growing sales of games in that continent. GameStop still needs the approval of the European Commission.

An article obtained by Impress can give everyone a prediction of what the next PlayStation may be like. It seems like Sony with continue using the Cell processor for many reasons, especially to be able to reduce costs (which was a lesson they seem to have learned from Nintendo). Instead of having to create another processor from scratch, Sony will save money by just speeding up the processor and using another type of memory. It will make the programming job easier to code, too. If the info is true, the system may be on sale in 3 years.

Un artículo obtenido por Impress da a todos una predicción de lo que pueda ser el siguiente PlayStation. Parece que Sony continuará usando el procesador Cell por algunas razones, más bien para preducir costos (la que fue una lección que parece que aprendieron de Nintendo). En vez de tener que crear otro procesasdor desde cero, Sony ahorarrá dinero con solo acelerar la velocidad del procesador y usando otro tipo de memoria. Hará también el trabajo de programación más fácil de hacerlo. Si la información es verdadera, el sistema pudiese estar a la venta en 3 años.
