Nintendo: 2013 Q1 Games Lineup | Alineación de juegos del 1er semestre de 2013

[EN]: Nintendo has announced the first games lineup of 2013 for its game systems earlier today. Though the list of games for the Wii and Nintendo DS is very short, Nintendo and other game developers are bringing their support to the Wii U and the 3DS.

Among the games people might want to take a look at are: Fire Emblem Awakening (an exciting fantasy turn-based strategy 3DS game; review to be published the day before release here), Lego City: Undercover, the Wii U version of Need for Speed Most Wanted, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Mirror of Fate (3DS), Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate (3DS & Wii U), Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon and Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity. There are more games for you to choose from, so take a look at the lineup (after the press release).

Nintendo will also launch a special Fire Emblem Awakening bundle. This hardware version of the original 3DS model will have game artwork on the portable, as will come with a pre-installed version of the game, and a 4GB SD memory card, for $199.99.

Games such as Game & WarioThe Wonderful 101Pikmin 3 and Wii Fit U will come later during the first half of the year.

And besides new titles, Nintendo also announced a new accesory set for players to protect the screen in their Wii U gamepads. The set includes a screen protector, an extra-large stylus, and a cleaning cloth.

Nintendo Japan: to merge console & portable hardware teams | a unir equipos de hardware de consolas y portátiles

[EN]: Nintendo has had separate teams for its console and portable hardware, but a decision by the company will bring major changes after nine years with Iwata.

Starting sometime next month, both console and handheld hardware teams will be working together, according to the Japanese newspaper Nikkei.

Since the arrival of Android and iOS devices, Nintendo has had more competition in the portable devices arena than before, especially because of smartphones.

Both teams will work together in the new R&D building that has been under construction since 2009 or 2010, sharing tech and expertise, and researching for the development of future platforms.

Namco Bandai / WB Games: “Thundercats” [DS] – Trailer

[EN]: The adventure of Lion-O and friends is coming soon to a Nintendo DS near you. This 2D side-scrolling adventure is based on the first six episodes of the new version of the series. The game was originally supposed to be launched in September, but will now make it to stores on October 30th in North America.

[EN]: We know the arrival of the Nintendo 3DS XL is coming soon, as well as New Super Mario Bros. 2. What you may have not known however is the release dates for many games coming out for the remainder of the current year. Activision, Disney, EA, Majesco, Ubisoft, WBIE and others  will bring 23 Nintendo DS games, 17 downloadable games via the Nintendo eShop, and 46 Nintendo 3DS games. This list does not include Wii nor Wii U games.

Among the most interesting titles are Angry Birds Trilogy, FIFA 13, Rayman Origins, Zelda II: The Adventure of Link (via eShop, for the ones who did not get the game via the Ambassadors program), Wreck-It, Ralph, Gradius (a Konami classic), and many more.

If you are into Pikachu and friends, both Pokémon Black Version 2 and Pokémon White Version 2, and Pokémon Dream Radar, will be available on October 7. The Pokédex 3D Pro app will arrive on November 8. Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon will have to wait until the first half of 2013. The list is subject to change.

Nintendo: “Pokémon Dream Radar,” “Pokédex 3D Pro” & “Pokémon Black/White 2″

[ES]: En unos meses, los fanáticos de Pokémon estarán felices al poder obtener las secuelas y nuevas aplicaciones para su 3DS. Por medio de la tienda eShop, Nintendo estrenará Pokémon Dream Radar y Pokédex 3D Pro. Y para los que quieren la continuación de los últimos juegos de la franquicia, Pokémon Black versión 2 y Pokémon White versión 2 usarán funciones específicas para el 3DS. Si eres un Poké-fan y no tienes aún un 3DS, considera lo siguiente.

La aplicación Dream Radar permitirá a que los jugadores usen diversas funciones del 3DS (el uso de la cámara, tecnología de realidad aumentada, control de movimiento) para atrapar a los Pokémon y descubrir a los que están escondidos. Los jugadores moverán el 3DS para apuntar y disparar rayos a los Pekémon para atraparlos. Los datos de aquellos Pokémon se podrán transfer a los juegos Black 2 y White 2 para que formen parte de su equipo. Algunos Pokémon pueden ser aquellos que son difíciles de conseguir.

Pokédex 3D Pro es una versión actualizada y completamente mejorada de la aplicación original Pokédex 3D. Tendrá datos de más de 600 Pokémon que han aparecido en los juegos, comparado a los más de 150 de los que se tiene ahora en Pokédex 3D. En esta ocasión, la aplicación te dejará tomar fotos de los Pokémon por medio de las capacidades de realidad aumentada del 3DS. Con el Pokédex 3D Pro, todos los Pokémon conocidas estarán disponibles desde el comienzo que servirá como información vital para las aventuras en Black 2 y White 2.

 Pokémon Black Version 2 y Pokémon White Version 2 llevarán de regreso a los jugadores a la región Unova dos años luego de lo sucedido en la primera versión de Black y White. Al volver, los jugadores se darán cuenta del cambio radical en los nuevos juegos. Hay que descubrir a que se debe tal transformación después del triunfo contra el equipo Plasma.

Y si quieres tener a uno o dos Pokémon legendarios, presta atención. Cada uno de ellos vendrá según su versión: Black Kyurem en Pokémon Black 2, y White Kyurem en Pokémon White 2.

REDMOND, Wash., May 15, 2012 – Two new downloadable Pokémon titles are coming soon to the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DSPokémon Dream Radar and Pokédex 3D Pro will both release in fall 2012, giving players new ways to catch and learn about their favorite Pokémon, while expanding the overall experience for those that choose to play the upcoming Pokémon Black Version 2 and Pokemon White Version 2 games on the Nintendo 3DS.

Pokémon Dream Radar lets players use several different features of the Nintendo 3DS system, including the Nintendo 3DS camera, motion control and augmented-reality technology, to catch Pokémon by moving the Nintendo 3DS to discover hidden Pokémon. Players can catch the Pokémon by moving the Nintendo 3DS to aim and shoot beams at them. Caught Pokémon from Pokémon Dream Radar can be transferred into Pokémon Black Version 2 and Pokémon White Version 2, helping players build their roster of Pokémon. Pokémon Dream Radar also includes some hard-to-get Pokémon, giving players even more incentive to catch them for their game. Pokémon Dream Radar will be available exclusively for purchase via download from the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS.

Pokédex 3D Pro is a fully enhanced and upgraded version of the original Pokédex 3D application. It includes detailed information about the more than 600 Pokémon featured in the history of the Pokémon video game series. Pokédex 3D Pro also includes in-depth sorting, comparison and ranking tools, as well as comprehensive details on what abilities each Pokémon can learn and how it evolves. Additionally, the application includes extensive augmented-reality capabilities, including the ability to take photos of Pokémon in the real world. With Pokédex 3D Pro, all known Pokémon are unlocked from the start, allowing players to access a wealth of information that will be useful as they play through Pokémon Black Version 2 and Pokémon White Version 2Pokémon Dream Radar will be available exclusively for purchase via download from the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS.

Pokémon Black Version 2 and Pokémon White Version 2 bring players back to the Unova region two years after the events of Pokémon Black Version and Pokémon White Version. Players who are familiar with Pokémon Black Version and Pokémon White Version will immediately notice that the Unova region has transformed significantly in the new games. Embark on a new adventure starting in the new Aspertia City and discover what strange events are occurring and why the Unova region has changed two years after Team Plasma’s defeat.

Players can also look forward to two new Legendary Pokémon, Black Kyurem and White Kyurem, which are featured on the games’ packaging. Each of these powerful Legendary Pokémon boasts new devastating Ice-type signature moves; Black Kyurem knows Freeze Shock and White Kyurem comes ready for battle with Ice Burn. Black Kyurem will be available exclusively in Pokémon Black Version 2, while White Kyurem will only be found in Pokémon White Version 2. Nintendo: “Pokémon Black & White 2″ – First Trailer

[EN]: Earlier this week, Coro Coro Comics revealed many details about the upcoming Pokémon game such as the names of the new gym leaders (Homika & Shizui), two new friends (Rival & Akuroma), and a new location (Isshu Region). Along with these new details of the game, it was mentioned that June 14  will be the date Homika will appear on an episode on Pokémon (in Japan), and that June 24 will be the release date of Pokémon Black 2 and Pokémon White 2. Experience the Acclaimed Pokémon Series in an Entirely New Way in this Hand-Held Adventure

REDMOND, Wash., April 4, 2012 – A creative new entry in the Pokémon family of video games delivers a new way for fans to enjoy this legendary series on the Nintendo DS family of systems. Pokémon Conquest, set to launch on June 18, offers a fun new way to play Pokémon in a unique world called Ransei that is filled with adventure. Developed by TECMO KOEI GAMES Co., Ltd., the 2D game can also be played on the Nintendo 3DS system.

In Pokémon Conquest, players take on the role of a young Warlord who is linked with a Pokémon. Together, they must set out to recruit Warrior allies to strengthen their growing kingdom. Along their journey, players will encounter a variety of Pokémon, as well as Warriors and Warlords inspired by the Japanese feudal era. The game contains nearly 200 Pokémon, including many from the recent Pokémon Black Version and Pokémon White Version games, which have sold more than 4 million copies combined in the United States.

As the battlefield unfolds in Pokémon Conquest, players must choose the correct Pokémon type to inflict maximum damage on their opponents. In the turn-based skirmishes, players choose different tactics for intense six-on-six battles, and battle conditions can change on every turn, keeping players on their toes in anticipation of what will happen next.
