[EN]: Well-known game journalist Geoff Keighley announced yesterday the name of the nominees for the new gaming award show.

Known as The Game Awards 2014, the show is being produced by Keighley himself and with his own money. Previous versions of the awards show (Video Games Awards & VGX) had the support of Viacom and Spike TV, but that is not the case this year.

The newest show will include new and unique categories (such as eSports Team of the Year and Game for Change), and will have the support of a jury formed by various journalists and of an advisory board formed by CEOs, COOs of various game companies.

The event will take place in Las Vegas on Friday, December 5th.

[ES]: El conocido periodista de videojuegos Geoff Keighley anunció ayer el nombre de los nominados para la nueva entrega de premios de videojuegos.

Conocido como el Game Awards 2014, el espectáculo está siendo producido por el mismo Keighley y con su propio dinero. Las versiones anteriores de la entrega de premios (Video Games Awards & VGX) contaron con el apoyo de Viacom y Spike TV, pero ese no es el caso este año.

El espectáculo más reciente incluirá nuevas y únicas categorías (tales como e-Sports: Equipo del Año y Juego para Cambio), y contará con el apoyo de un jurado formado por varios periodistas y de un consejo asesor formado por directores generales, directores de operaciones de varias compañías de juegos.

El evento se realizará en Las Vegas el 5 de diciembre.
