[EN]: Remedy Entertainment announced today Control Ultimate Edition for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S is coming early 2021.

The Finnish game developer, known for its work on Quantum Break and Alan Wake, had originally planned to release Control Ultimate Edition to next-gen consoles for the 2020 holiday season.

The message on social media does not mention reasons for the delay.

“We want the final quality of the game to be awesome, and so we need a bit more time to work on it. Thank you for your understanding and patience!”

The change is already noticeable on the game’s website.

Current owners of Control Ultimate Edition on PS4 and Xbox One will be receiving a free upgrade on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. Unfortunately, owners of the original Control won’t be getting it.
